MTNL Disconnects every night

Dear All,I am MTNL Triband subscriber from Delhi. For the past one week i have got a strange problem in my net connection. For the past one week my net fails to connect between 8pm to 6am but works fine through out the day.What may be the possible cause of this if anyone here can suggest. Has any one else experienced the same.Thanks in advance.

I was also facing the same problem from the day one I got my net connection. After failing to solve the problem I changed my modem & it was solved then. My earlier modem was D-Link 502T and the new one is D-Link GLB-802C.But I don't advice you to immediately go for a new modem before you analyze your problem completely.Do tell us the following:*Since when are you using your current modem & what is it's make & model number?*Your modem's SNR value & other statistics when you are connected to the net & when you are unable to connect.*Which mode are you using to connect to the net: PPPoE or Bridge mode?

i faced the same issue yesterday......i connected my BSNL yesterday at 3:40am and since then the connection was not ON.....the modem will reboot after every few minutes....don't know whether it was modem or the issue with the DSL connectivity....???so i tried all the steps and finally at 5:54am the DSL was solid.....after that i was able to download the date using UTORRENT......iam waiting for tonight to see if that happens to me again.....really praying to GOD......

update to the same.......

today it was working fine.....i started it on 2:10am.....everything was going smooth....till 7am......7-8 again the same problem.....the DSL won't come on solid......

finally i switched to AIRTEL...will try again....tonight....don't know what's the prob with BSNL.....?

i m also getting same prob in the night arnd 1 PM net starts fluctuating....need help...frm where i knw ma SNR n all...?

whenever u r getting disconnected, pick up ur phone reciever and keep down.Then try! This will solve ur problem.:thumb:

i also do the same thing but that is not a solution of d prob

, he he! I thought I was d only 1 who used to follow the trick when I was with MTNL.Well life with MTNL is hell, u just cant expect stable connection, some or the other thing will let ur connection down and u too.I got a lesson, Stay away from MTNL!

whenever u r getting disconnected, pick up ur phone reciever and keep down.
Then try! This will solve ur problem.:thumb:


thanks man i will try that.....and i will also post a screen shot of the details of my ADSL connection, when it's connected and when it's not....
