By reading about different ISP's in mumbai and their plans I think in Delhi We are living in stone age.Far behind Mumbai in case of Broadband Coverage and options to choose b/w ISP. For eg. In my area I can choose b/w MTNL and Airtel only

The plans seem roughly the same in Delhi and Mumbai, no? I can't seem to find their retail costs on the MTNL Mumbai websitePity about the data plans still being 60ps per MB!!!At least post-FUP the speed on unlimited plans is 512kbit/s instead of 256 (it's a start).

Interestingly 4 & 10mbit/s on FTTH seem to be cheaper than their Triband options (yes yes, it's probably because of the FUP), but still. WTF.

I just hope they dont introduce FUP in the normal lanline plans. That would be disaster!

They've gone ahead and announced the plans, but how many years before they actually lay down the fiber and start issuing last-mile connections?

Yup. They openly brag in Mumbai (esp at the senior level) that they are the most economical in India.

MTNL and service can't exist together, at least in my area this miracle can't happen
