MTNL introduces new BILL-CAP based Circuit Breaker Plans

Yup I agree, the ignorance & arrogance go in equal measure with this person.
Recently a friend wanted to have wifi as his sons wanted it. So he asked me for advise so I told him ‘lets check if MTNL has the stock of wifi routers if not you can decide if you want to wait for their h/w or buy your own’. So we met the SDE of our area who told us frankly that it was out of stock but would be available in 15 days, my friend decided to wait for the MTNL h//w. so that saved me the trouble of going with him to Lamington Rd & then installing it for him
BTW his level of computer knowledge is that of pygmy Guran from Phantom comics (except the grass skirt is missing) :O
After 17 days it was installed, he requested me to come & supervise as I had told him about the password security should be taken seriously & not the usual Ram barose style. I won’t mention the sloppy method that’s MTNL uses to provide the initial wifi password as it might give people ideas on hacking others wifi, setup by MTNL. A few days later his computer was badly crippled by a Trojan attack & guess what my friend tells me. 'I think it’s the wifi installation which has done this; I should not have gone in for it'. Later his elder son quietly tells me that his younger bro uses torrents & that could have caused this problem. It took me a whole day to sort out the problem (it was a Saturday) & set thing right.
2 days ago another friend was asking me, if he gets the computer parts from lamington rd. can i assemble a new PC for him? :grin:

A few years back I used to deal in wholesale Grey market mobile phones... I had many similar exp with friends & relatives over there... I had one guy even blame me for selling him a defective mobile... He told me it is not turning o & how I should chk the phones before I sell them(am I supposed to open up every box packed mobile & use it for 2 days before selling it? Not that I would mind )... Anyway I told this guy to bring back the phone to my place so I could chk it out... When I chked it the battery was down so I asked him how many hours did he charge it... "Charge what" came the replay ... I said the phone... He was like WTF do I have to even charge it... wht a nuisance ... It was almost night by that time so he tells me he will charge it tomm... I was like y do u want to w8 till tomm??? He said (& I m not kidding about this) "Arre Beta Dhoop nahi hai na abhi"(there is no sunlight) ... I was like errrrrrrrrr ... He was like sunlight ke bina kaise charge karenge... He actually though it would charge like the solar powered calculators he had in this office ... After this Incident I had a terrific Idea that made my life a whole lot easier.. "No Retail Only Wholesale" ...

^^ haha, must be an old guy, who doesnt know much abt mobiles otherwise i dont think that young generations wudnt be knowing that mobile needs charging that too electrical
LOLz if it had been a youngster I would have smacked him at the back of his dumb head ... Anyway it was a long long time ago when BSNL had just introduced the country's 1st Free Incoming plan(It was a Rs 325 rental plan if I remember properly)... Mobiles were just starting to become a necessity rather than a luxury...

Mobiles were just starting to become a necessity rather than a luxury...well.. then i dont blame him.. because in those days.. only landline telephones were there... and they wud work without any electricity OR charging... so obviously some might not have idea that telephones need charging!
