How's the picture quality compared to DTH? This still remains answered. I have heard of pixellation and "picture breaking" in IPTV after every few minutes. Please comment on that aspect.
I have seen that picture is not very "sharp" in many DTH channels. How about IPTV?
correct me if im wrong, but does the cable line go into ur TV? i was under the impression that you had to watch the TV on ur pc itself and need a tuner card of some sorts for it. thanks.
any west delhi users? share your experinces
Double ended utp cable is being used. One end of it goes directly into stb and other end of it goes into lan port of modem.
IPTV can be viewed either on tv with stb or PC but not at both simultaneously.
I received a mail from IPTV people. It says " There has been an Overwhelming Response from Mtnl Broadband customers to IOL- IPTV. There has been an request to extend the Diwali offer at least for a week since many people were out of the town on account of Diwali Holidays last week".
The last Day is 17th Nov
mtnl's promotional offers are generally that way... they have to archive a specific target number of customers for a service... how long it takes, they don't care
My query is that isnt it possible to use 502T router for iptv by utilizing one ethernet port for stb and connecting router to comp via the usb port that exists in router.I had bought my own router and so wont like to buy/rent another one. Also is the rent free period for stb only till the 6 mnth offer period as i read somewhere on the forum???
it is very much possible to use usb port for tirband and ethernet port for iptv but it is better if u go for multiple ethernet port router like ut starcom 304r2.edit :about rent for stb i wont be able to comment as i am from mumbai .Wait for banda to reply.
