Need Help configuring ZTE Router on BSNL FTTH/Bharat Fiber

I'm trying to configure a reset ZTE router for my BSNL FTTH. Till now, i was using Syrotech, but now that i want to use ZTE F670L.
Can anybody help me what are the necessary information like passwords and usernames required, or guide me in connecting to BSNL through the new router?
I feel configure newer routers are more complicated than previously used ADSL routers.

First a question, is your connection GPON or EPON? Because ZTE one is GPON only device.

Regarding configuration, it's not that complicated. Just copy the necessary information from your Syrotech device. Basically you will need VLAN, User ID and password for internet. For VOIP, you need the VLAN and then it depends if you have DHCP or static IP. Additionally you need SIP register address and the account number and password. These information should be available on your old device.

Yes. My connection is GPON. I tried copying the values from one router to another. The passwords are masked, so i am not able to find them out. Again, some of the options are not visible in the ZTE router.

I suppose i need to check with the BSNL team, but, they woudn't probably help because they need me to buy their router by paying them.

I wish i could find the details of usernames and passwords somewhere, though my registered email-id has it only for the VOICE service.

Password by default should be password. For GPON I suppose the OLT has some sort of verification or lock such as serial number of the ONT.

@sloj @mreccentric If you recently took the connection recently and are on the newer BNG, your default password wouldn't be "password". It would be randomized.

@WieldyBinkie can new BNG upgrade cause speed issues I am on 30mbps plan used to get 34 but after new BNG speed reduced to 28mbps now getting 25-28 and JTO telling me that it’s up to 30mbps also nib though they accepted the speed reduction and new BNG upgradation also I am getting ipv6 but that too also not crossing 28mbps.

Yeah, I too was moved to the new BNG and I don’t see burst speeds anymore. I am hard-capped at 190Mbps. They say it’s because of QoS.

@WieldyBinkie what is your plan 200mbps? @sloj I also don’t know I think it’s some kind of router previously I didn’t got ipv6 but now it shows so I think they updated BNG for our region. As per this forum most bsnl user have published that on migrating to juniper network they got ipv6. I think bsnl is upgrading its network for 4g/5g launch, my JTO also telling me that they have got strict instructions to keep the network up for 99% time so he visits office at night also.
@WieldyBinkie @sloj Also I have contact number of Bsnl nib they also confirmed about this new BNG migration, I don’t know what is the reason behind reducing the speed do they have any kind of bandwidth issue.

@supukabi Yes you are correct that it is a router that we are connected to which then connects to the broadband network. My connection has been on Juniper BNG since more than a year.
Regarding burst speed, my guess is that it has been simply disabled. You can use Flow offloading/NAT offloading to achieve close to max speed allowed for your connection. These are of two types, hardware flow offloading (HFO) and software flow offloading (SFO). Openwrt has the option to do this but hardware has to support it. If HFO isn't supported then SFO is used. You can use web search for more information.
