Hi, Currently I am a user of In Cable. I am planning to move to Dish DTH now. I need connection on both TV and my personal notebook. Recently I have purchased a HP Pavilion notebook with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. Product is also shipped with internal TV Tuner card. On couple of threads on this forum people talked about VGA box. My question is Do I really need some extra hardware for watching cable both on tv and notebook or just TV tuner with STB is sufficient?

I think for this you just need a normal Stb with dish tv connection....because VGA will not work on laptops untill and unless laptops will have vga graphics card.

Thanks for your reply. One more thing, If I take Zee Max offer which cost me 300 INR, will a single connection be sufficient for both TV and notebook? or do I have to take one more connection for notebook? Secondly can I watch channels at the same time both on TV and on my notebook? Rgds,

Dear friend,
Yes that's right a single connection is sufficient for both TV and PC, you can watch same channels on both tv and pc but only one will be working at one time either tv or computer. Both of them simultaneously can not work....and also be sure if you have graphics card in your laptop then only you will be able to connect VGA with your laptop. but will work fine with normal desktop pc.
