Netflix is messed up on Excitel Broadband today

I am getting terrible quality and video takes a minute to load.

We will very soon get Local Netflix Peering and most probably then this issue will completely disappear.

Peering with Netflix would be very nice. AFAIK they don't have much usage in India. About a gig from what I've heard.

Yes. Only a few gigs. Very low I know. Maybe they need to invest in more content in India.

I alone use about 250 gigs of Netflix a month. lol

i am guessing he was talking about 1gbps data transfer requirement. which is not much for a country of our size. of course the user base is probably in few lakhs optimistically speaking? even this sounds high.
