Bsnl plans make very little sense sometimes.

ITS ACTUALLY BETTER with Hotstar Premium and Amazon prime and you get 10mbps post fup speed too.
But I got this tariff from kerala bsnl website.

^ Interesting, didn't know it had post FUP speeds of 10 Mbps.

However I still feel the 849 plan is better, you get 600 GB and if you do need Hotstar you could pay 999 and still have some money left as compared to paying 1200+tax extra (per year) with 100 GB less data usage at high speed.

10mbps is not bad... Good enough for 2 phones for 1080p streaming. Downloading won't be that bad too.. Might take 17min for 1gb download. Not that iam justifying thier absurd plans, but still its just okay.


This is their 749 plan I have no idea how they add thier annual plan. Atleast they say it's 8239 after stating they do deduct it from next year bill, last time @varkey had a small dispute on thier billing process on this matter

And this is their 849 plan with no annual amount whatsover.. No annual charge seen for this plan.

Yeah.. It's a little hard to choose from those 50Mbps plans.
849 Makes sense if you need little more data cap. Else go for 749

@abbyck the 777 plan is only valid for 6 more months then it would be migrated to 849 plan

I'm on the 749 plan, enough for my usage in Kerala. Hotstar and 300 GB.
