New Airtel Airfiber with inbuilt POE and Esim in Outdoor CPE

Hi All,

I have recently come across a new device of Airtel Airfiber made with Qualcomm technologies which is newer version than the model AOT-5221ZY.
This new device router features a circular design and comes with a stand to be hanged to a wall and the outdoor CPE unit comes with an esim because it seems as there is no physical sim slot.

I cant extract details from the video as the quality is limited.
Please feel free to add details regarding the build and model number.

Finally I think this new router Nokia WIFI BEACON 3.2 with Model number (AAP321NK) is in action some areas.
It would be great if this performs better than the one with airtel ZyXEL ONT model no (AOT-5221ZY). Because Nokia Wifi beacon is equipped with qualcomm chips.
People who come acroos this model in the coming days please do share your thoughts on this.

If Nokia beacon 3.2 does deliver better performance then we need to sacrifice ftp
or else the old router is better because it has ftp functionality to it.

anyone has the Nokia beacon 3.2?
how its compare to AOT-5221ZY

I got a new Airtel airfiber connection very first time, I got this (ZyXEL ONT model no (AOT-5221ZY)), I felt couple of issue with it like unable to change the DNS, remote FTP servers are unable to connect (external sites FTP servers). any know how to get this fixed?

Does anyone in this forum have the first gen Airtel Airfiber unit which is just plug and play unlike the current one

Man wouldn’t that be great for travel within India
Like keep it in car or something ,or if travelling in First class just plug and play

And ofc keeping it in Hotel making ur own 100mbps Wifi everywhere (at stationery place that is)

Even IDK bro thats why I asked if the it works, we can conclude which one is better.
If FTP doesnt work and the Nokia one if performs well with Snapdragon chip then we can have it( it doesnt have usb port).
So my qustions remains the i just want to know if the tradeoff is worth or not if it works(ftp).

Yeah this one. It wasn't detecting HDDs but atleast was detecting pendrive but the SMB doesn't work

Yeah the device you were looking for is discontinued and mostly ended after marketing, so a very few units are left that too in Mumbai and Delhi, because airtel airfiber initially launced in those cities so try your luck with friend and families out there.

And yeah man I agree, but one worst thing about airtel is its contractual work
from service to products its a nightmare for consumers because constant change in device manufactures leading to diff products and quality of services in different areas.
