new channels in tata sky....

check out the above site..it shows 5 "service" slots and an "empty" slot for tv channels currently in ts.....and also 3 slots for radio channels....anybody have any idea wat this means?? are they testing new channels?


and why is channels like history and pogo given twice in two slots??

those channels are double b'coz of the audio options hindi/english... theyare wasting it..dishtv does it only at press of button but here they have different channels for each language. and they have lot of channels for active services etc.. and we here are thinking they are short of tps:wall:

Are you sure that those are seperate channels and not any mistake from satcodx. Because Satcodx is also not flawless, it may have mistakes like still it displays MPEG-4 channels as MPEG-2.
I think (not sure) that Satcodx is mistaking somewhere for 2 Audio's as 2 different channels. Because take example of Cartoon network, it shows 3 different channels but PID values are same (V-PID: 701) and only A-PID are changing: 702, 703. There is some problem with PMT field which makes it appear that these are seperate channels.
And in case of DISHTV no reference for 2nd Audio channel in Cartoon Network, Discovery, NGC given on Satcodx

@kedar....... yes satcodx is also wrong sometimes, but not in this case.. but I am sure as I have checked with FTA stb, and you can check with any FTA STB for insat4a., you can get the channels like history, pogo and ngc and few more 2 times in the list. but in dishtv there is just 1 channel for all these with multiaudio option.
