No Internet Connection

My new Asus router is unable to connect to the internet and keep showing an error account or password is invalid.The router is connected to the isp ont through ppoe mode. I have correctly input the username/password and already tried copy paste from my old Asus router.Other settings were set up correctly and matched my old router settings. the router works in access mode and I have tried using different ethernet cables. The old Asus router works fine if I input the same settings in ppoe mode. Can anybody help me out?

Check for if there is any additional requirement of adding either service name or server name.
Best would be to reach to your LCO for full credential detail, to ensure you do not really miss out.

It's because of the PPPoE MAC address lock. Two ways to fix it, either copy the MAC address used for PPPoE of the previous router or ask BSNL to reset it.

Is this log from the old or new router? To confirm which MAC address was used login to selfcare and download your session data.

Thanks for helping me. I was able to solve the problem by asking Bsnl to reset Mac address

Hey , I am getting the exact same issue and system logs in my new Asus router ,
while my existing setup ont + pppoe on TP-Link works fine. this is the logs of tplinks.
On asus i get CHAP authentication failed. Please assist.

How to copy mac address of tplink in asus ?

You have to copy the MAC from network -> interfaces -> devices of openwrt. And then click configure and enter the custom MAC in the same page on the other device.

Hi Guys ,I was able to clone the TP-Link mac into new Asus router and pppoe connection succeeded.

Now I am facing a different issue.
Able to ping and traceroute within the router.

But devices connected via asus wifi has no internet.
