Well, MS isnt this bad in PC OSes (I know i criticize it a lot, but then still it cud be worth, if it was cheaper! :D), so i guess we can expect them to improve over next few updates, and hopefully, u wud get ur money's worth in the end!

Now here is some interesting news for my Nokia Lumia 800 ! When the phone is discharged completely, the battery is totally drained off, to the level that even if you plug in the adaptor it doesn't have power to detect a charging !

You then have to shake the phone, give it some heat, so that the battery kicks up and if it's mood if good, it would detect charging. This complete thing would take minimum of 30 min ! DAMN !

They shud quickly look to resolve this bug or whatever they call it! It can get very annoying. But to what extent, is it true?

Oh, so u must have earned a few quick bucks as well! But did that 1 day involve testing the phone by draining out whole of its battery & charging it up?

I had 4phones in which 2 whr out of charge , if you plug it to PC for charging thn it took some time to get start but charging directly was all ok. So saying 30mins is not OK. I laughed at 'Shake the phone, give it some heat' :iomg:

Ha ha! The guy has exaggerated things either or his handset in particular has that issue. Otherwise people would have gone crazy over Nokia for this. I just remember the only common issue people had with this phone is less battery backup because software wasn't getting reported the full capacity of battery and Nokia has addressed this issue already as far as I know.

Might be the battery has loose contacts with phone terminal, which gets in contacts after shaking. Never heard of this issue anywhere else...
