Nokia wp phone sales are largely disappointing. in countries like russia, the phones are getting major price cuts just weeks after launch because of poor response.
nokia itself has not revealed exact sales figures for different markets. their most recent number was 1 million units globally. and that too in like 4-5 months i believe. you can calculate yourself how well these two phones are selling.

wp7 is just a year old, let it mature;
android wasn't selling like hot cakes either at the same maturity
nokia never reveals exact sales for any handset, lumia 800 is a premium (priced) phone & it wouldn't be sold that well ; so dont expect it to sell in masses like
Galaxy series which start from 7-8k ?
with tango, in coming months nokia will be able to launch those sub 10k phones & still make good profits
wp7 is much smoother and intuitive then its android counter part which is only selling because of the number of handsets manufactures & apps which it took like 3-4 yrs to reach ? android has bloat load of features with bloat code, wp isn't
you should check back android vs wp, in Q1 2013 ; when there will be complete ecosystem with win8 and lot of manufactures making wp handsets
