Not able to use TP-Link Xpon XC220-G3v with ION Broadband.

Okay, I believe you're referring to GPON registration.
It's in Hex + ASCII format for both the password and the connection type is PPPoE.
I selected the 'Z mode' in OLT mode because I was using a ZTE ONT. Due to this, sometimes it connects to the internet for 5-10 seconds.

Use ASCII format + SN number and Mac is TP-Link Archer c20

Z Mode is for ZTE OLT, not ONT. Keep it default OLT Type.
I believe you are using 12 digits of SN, not 16.

What does show up in advanced -> internet-> xpon settings for GPON registration. What state does it show?

Its not registering with olt, tell isp to reset the Mac

I went to ISP they told this device will not work, but it was working on their ION modem + router(I think some rebranded form Chinese company).
I have tried both 12 digit SN and 16 digit but same issue.
Now, I suspect the problem lies in the fact that the ZTE device is an ONT, whereas the TP-Link XC220-G3v is an OLT.
The ISP mentioned that the PON light should get stable then they can provide further assistance.

Main problem is GPON is not getting register to ION server.
