Even i use tata sky plus,though i m happy that recording capacity has doubled but in such a stiff competition,Tata Sky Should think of adding Channels

On existing STBs or on new STBs?On new STBs they may have double the hard-disk size, so not a big deal.

Even I received this alert just now...This is really gr8 as 90hrs of recording is now present in TS+. Plus this is FREE of cost for existing TS+ subscribers

I have also got this alert msg now.one thing my friends ,according to my knowledge...Tata Sky plus has 160GB HDD.80 GB records up to 45 Hrs and the another 80 GB is for live pause and rewind functions .i think they have merged the recording hrs.that means now it can records only maximum up to 90 hrs.what do u think?Or is there a way to change setting so that we can increase the recording time in Tata Sky DTH+ !:inodding:

You may be right ,but i think there would still some amount of space form the HDD only for pausing and rewinding

Also i recorded one program today and i found that there was a lot of pixelation compared to the original content and also clarity was a bit dull

Is it like tata sky have started compressing recorded contents and saving it in HDD to double the recording time form 45 hrs to 90 hrs ?

so pixlerations started due to compression and that is why they increased the capacity.. anyway i think Tata Sky DTH is concentrating and wants customers to watch by recording in Tata Sky DTH+.

May be the original HD capacity was 90 and they were giving 45 hrs and now after updating the software they are giving 90 hrs
