PCI Express extension ?

^ PCI gcards are rare these days . Are you sure you dont even have a AGP or pci-e slot on your motherboard ? This is very new chipset and its a sin for it to not have pci-e ( or AGP ) . No black coloured slot in mobo ??

hi power,

motherboard changed to intel 945 with 1.6 Dual Core. OK?
it has the PCI-Express slot. NOw what? which card should be looking out for?

this is a nice place to check out prices . Also make sure u read some reviews of card before you buy ( google ) . Rest all depends on your budget and how much gaming u do . I would prefer a cheap Nvidia 8600 .

so know of any cards that give two vga outputs? he spoke of those with vga+dvi. is it adequate. will it work with normal monitors.

I have Nvidia Quadro NVS 440 card at work. It has 2 VGA outputs. DVI will not work with normal monitors (they support only VGA). Newer LCD monitors support DVI.
 
You can get a DVI to D-Sub(VGA) adapter, that can be used for running a VGA monitor on a DVI port. Quite a lot of the video cards now include them.

thanks for the info. ur impressions of XFS 7200GS card. it has a vga adapter on the card, apparently. regrdsthanks mate.
