Persistent DNS Issues and Connection Timeouts with Static IP on Airtel Xstream Fiber

Fair. Thanks, I guess. for now, I've just switched my bridged router to pppoe and the airtel router is still running the static ip. I'll just wait till it automagically fixes itself.

I also was facing this issue of erratic internet when using opendns with a static ip. To resolve this, airtel folks added the required dns from their side in my router's WAN settings.

Has anyone managed to solve this problem? I have had this issue for a long time, and nothing has changed. The static IP has many DNS issues and connection timeouts. Fortunately, I only use this for running the home lab, so it hasn't been so much of an issue. However, I wonder if Airtel even wants to solve it now.
