Phone around 16K

Yeah yeah I know many threads exist already. My mom wants to replace her old Nokia phone. Her requirements are:Video conferencing via Skype/Tango Using the following:SBI Mobile appICICI mobile appAirtel mobile appWhatsApp Calling and texting. I guess only Android phones apply cause of the app restrictions, not sure though. Screen size should not exceed 4.7And budget is 16K ish. Also Indian brands are a last resort.Any ideas? Cause we want to buy in the Diwali sales by FK and others. And oh yes I'll be rooting it after warranty goes and updates stop.

Other than Xeperia L,there's Galaxy s2 available. Or micromax Canvas A113 Ego. Or Xolo Play

S2? NO WAY! Indian brands might not sit well here.... I guess the L is the only option, but I'm not liking the front cam

S2 is probably the best phone Samsung has ever made, I think it is the best option at that price range....

Judging by the requirements, buy an s2,add an good case and it might be enough for your mom. But I wouldn't be comfortable using 2 year old phone myself.

Its for your mom ..parents don't usually care about phones as long as it works I would have bought an s2 for my dad but he's happy with his lumia.

My first choice at this range was the Lumia. But then it doesn't have the apps.
