Please give the IP address you used to get this page. ( if you have this modem )
Will appreciate , feedback +ve or -ve, if you try other IP addresses given in my post No 48.

@ ridam awesome reply...!!
siemens sl2_141 all requiring tricks to access port forwarding
You are using Sl2_141 router and can access the PF pages by using 192.168.1.1./main.html after trying telnet/hyperterminal etc ).
You can confirm to @/whitestar_999/ how you learnt the trick.
If using IP address 192.168.1.1/main.html or home.html or menu.html is considered "tricky" .

I have WA3002G4 ! your ip works ! (since i have changed my ip from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.10.10, i changed to 10.10) ! I get otherwise itself since nothing is hidden !

my ip to virtual server tab is http :// 192.168.10.10/scvrtsrv.cmd?action=view

if we can access in ut300r2, then it is a great news :) ! have to get a person with this model !

/members/appus/Thank you so much for the quick reply. One more request : Do you have DDNS option in WA 3002_G4. ( Dynamic DNS)give the access page please. Para two:Will wait for feedback from other users of UT300R2U ,( if they try ,) who cannot access the virtual server settings. earlier and used telnet/hyperterminal etc.Para three: Vague idea : seems LINUX program in all modems. ( I have no idea about LINUX))Read about WRT/tomato etc. in this forum. You can substitute the complete Firmware for some modems.

@/members/appus/Very good, and thanks for PM to @frnslife.I will try in my beetel220BX1 and report later . dinner now . Sorry. Thanks again.

sorry essbebe but maybe my memory is really getting hazy these days because as far as i remember before you posted this URL 192.168.1.1/main.html there was no thread in the forum which mention how to access port forwarding in sl2_141 & @ridam's post of using hyperterminal to access port forwarding was the only solution.using a URL which you have to find out to access advanced options if this isn't a trick please tell me what exactly trick is according to you.i am in no way writing this just to get into an argument with you but am curious why you think this way of using URL's to access advanced options is not a trick.after all a lot of users still posts/search on various other forums including this one too to find out how to access port forwarding in sl2_141.i personally know at least 4-5 users who didn't knew about this until i told them about this using information from here.

@appus
in my Beetel 220BX1 trying for DDNS page. Bad luck . Modem "Always On"
(Not really needed unless you want to post a web site)
Will request someone having BEETEL 220BX to confirm.
http ://192.168.1.1 /ddnsmngr.cmd
This page is not supported./
Para two:
@superprash2003/: Did you try on "Dialer" "Bridged" "Wanminiport"mode ?
As you said there are two models. one almost like Beetel 220BX and another one .
I have listed them here
Para three: with telnet also option "6" should fail . Can you enter data for Port Forwarding .? @frnslife reported failure and now happy with DMZ
DMZ seems the only option for some model of 300R2U
I will try in Huawei AXMt882 and if anything new will update.

DDNS wont be there for many modems/routers ! (frankly speaking i haven't seen on type I modems ! may exist) !

It is useful so that you dont have to remember your IP all the time ! Many use for websites, FTP, online streaming(audio/video), and others for accessing pc remotely (eg: remote admin, and few other software themselves updates it)

These days i dont use DDNS and i had used DDNS extensively when i was running above things years back !

@/members/appus/Thanks again. I also noticed DDNS only after this thread started. It was mentioned in the blog link , I gave. Nice discussion thanks to @whitestar_999 post No 43.out of thread:Downloaded FireFox 3.0 from Official Mozilla site for world record downloads . ( downloaded earlier from filehippo.com and using it . ). Reported in BBC also.
