Did you enter the username/password properly ? same password used on browser ? password shouldnt be empty. that is the reason am asking !

@essebebe pls sorry for all the problems tat i have caused to ya all!!!!!!! Well just as u said abt hyperterminal i also looked abt it in the net and actually i was not able to understand for wat hyperterminal is even used!!!!! Well then found out a way to install telnet from ur post and the final result is i am not able to get into main menu actually told by APPUS too....If u want ask him itself!!!!! Just wanted to clariy my doubts tats all sorry once again for the inconvinience caused by me! Am still searchin for the hyperterminal matter in net......

If you had replied to this simple question " NO"
users would have guided you step by step
to use telnet or hyperterminal.
Now in vista WINRS equivalent program .

• If you only need remote shell access,
you can use WinRS (Windows Remote Shell),
new in Windows Vista.
To get help with WinRS, type winrs /? at the command prompt,

@essebebe very sorry for not replyin.....my fault!!! Now only saw it!!! Actually i found the way as given by u to open the telnet and thanx for tat!

As u have already said in the Post:2 i am not usin dialup or bridged mode and those hyperterminal links too didin help i mean those links showed my modem page tats all!!!

many have complained saying there is no virtual server in that tab
i wasnt aware of it ! if you get a new firmware, you can upgrade to it ! otherwise have to live with it

so... if you cant get more speed in direct downloading (eg:microsoft. com), then you wont get more in torrents !!
last question. What speed you are seeing in speedtest . net ! use mumbai server !!! close all other downloading while running speedtest !

this is not always the case.i have experienced faster downloads in torrents lot of times than the regular sites.
download speed from regular sites depends on lot of factors.
if you are downloading a very popular thing from a "regular site" ,evryone wud be doing the same thing ,and you may not get good speeds because of bandwidth problem.
it is the same case when you want to view a page where thousands of them are already trying to view the same single page.
(ex:wen you trying to view online exam results ,and your fellow university members are also trying to view the same)
coming back to main topic: those who do not have virtual server option can still port forward using main router page.ill post the details with pics on my blog soon(as soon as my exams get over).
so dont loose hope :thumbsup:,i know how frustrating it can be somtimes.
