^ Means you people dont let me live in peace there too..huh! :(

No... Just telling you that problems are everywhere :p .. Just the nature of problem changes...

sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) is being used for many years as a toothpaste ingredient. there are many chemicals which are known to be harmful(poisonous) to human when consumed in a large quantity but harmless when used in low amounts(it depends on body's assimilation of the said product). the list is endless. we consume more poison through water and vegetables which are showered by organophosphates in the form of pesticides then say toothpaste whichwe don't even ingest.as far as daatun is concerned, it is no doubt a great way to clean teeth. but it has to be processed ( by chewing ) to make it soft before it can be used on teeth. the process of chewing daatun though can lead to attrition ( unusual wear ) of teeth which may lead to tooth sensitivity as enamel gets worn and underlying dentine gets exposed.so take your pick and choose the lesser evil.

I remember a story in which a man's hand is tied to a post in a room......he cannot free his hand without cutting it off....The room is set on fire and he is given a knife....He has to choose between burning to death or cutting off his own hand.

I am using Ramdev's Dantkaanti paste! I hope its less poisonous. :onthego:

u dont know about steve jobs???? he also tried alternative medicines first..........and probably died just because of the delayed actual treatment:rose-dead: the thing is u would have some ppl always going in different direction ...........if these ppl who tried and died in alternative/ayurvedic treatment didnt do it some other would have for sure.

yeh jobs died because of alt meds, he could've been treated and would've lived longer if he'd not been a delusional hippie.

See a dentist? sometimes, due to tooth decay, the nerve(s) in that area might be exposed leading to this. In this case, these toothpastes can only provide temporary relief. Best to see a doctor and get treatment.

^ Try colgate pro sensitve / sensodyne (the ones which are tubule blocking) for around 15 days. see if you get any relief. Do you have any tooth erosion ?
