No grinning matter for Congress: What Rahul Gandhi should learn from repeated defeats - The Economic Times
On Friday, Rahul Gandhi emerged for a press briefing to accept blame for the Congress' worst ever showing in Lok Sabha elections — just 44 seats out of 543, and 11 less than the number required to be considered as the leading opposition party in parliament. His speech was brief.
The only catch was that, throughout his short bhashan, and afterwards as he stood by his mother Sonia Gandhi, who also spoke, Rahul wore a broad grin. It was as if he was celebrating victory, not mourning Congress' biggest rout in history.
