Pollution Problem in Delhi NCR

So I am reading that courts have indeed appointed Environment Pollution Control Authority to monitor the pollution levels in Delhi. Too bad I could not find any online source where they are broadcasting this data for public analysis.

Yep. He keeps forgetting that the target of this was to reduce pollution, not traffic. And traffic alone doesn't cause pollution. No one is looking at other factors. Udhar public transport is overburdened to such an extent that slowly those who had been forced to use might start looking to buy their next vehicle if this scheme continues. Eventually we would come back to same situation. He can gloat all he want for now but the real problem is still out there.

His entire focus is on Punjab now. Delhi people can look forward to missing both the PM and CM to external factors.

Odd-even had a social impact, reduced fights at home: Gopal Rai

Wow. Just wow.

Apart from its impact on pollution levels and decongestion of roads, Transport Minister Gopal Rai Saturday said the 15-day odd-even scheme also had a social impact.

“The feedback we received suggested there were less fights at home during odd-even operations. After working all day, when a person is stuck in traffic for an hour, he becomes irritable. After reaching home, when his family members say something, he then reacts very negatively. But this irritation was gone when the odd-even scheme was in force. People were happy that their family members were getting home early. In this way, the scheme also had a social impact,” he said.
