Pollution Problem in Delhi NCR

Pollution panel may get a full-time chief soon - Times of India

Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) may soon get a chairman, who will not just be a political appointee, but a person with specialised knowledge in environmental science.
This move is significant given the city is affected by toxic air and high-level of river water pollution. The Delhi government has recently written to the Centre, requesting a change in the notification for appointment of the DPCC chairman.
Keshav Chandra, the current DPCC chairman who holds the additional charge of Delhi Jal Board CEO, will be in office on ad hoc basis till a new appointment is made.

looking at the state of delhi ncr this morning... i am pretty sure we would have an odd even announcement by the end of the day.
