@Ameen /all, One help. Shouldn't one change MTU size is both bsnl ONT and one's router?

My MTU size should be 1460 (using ping test) But my bsnl ont currently has a value 1492. And default router value is 1500.

Till now I hadn't considered tweaking this...

ISP dns is likely to point you to peered servers. Which would be faster than connecting any random server with services like Netflix.

Check out that mtu value.

I too had it around 1492.
The best to have is around >1454.
In your case 1460.
Do ping test to google and other servers are you sure you got 1460?
My ping was good until I went 1426..@1427 I had issues... With ping drop or the so called packet loss.
So 1426 +28 =1454
