Poor quality

I have installed the Airtel Digital Tv today. First impressions: Tata Sky picture quality seems to better than Airtel(maybe bacause of lower compression) Very poorat adding addon packs. It is already 6 hours since i asked them but still I amm not getting any addon channels

@dms:Really?? i saw a demo setup on what looked like a 22" or 24" Samsung lcd monitor and the picture quality is way above my expectation. I have a 32" HDTV at home and i wonder what it would look like once plugged in. A big bonus for me was the remote which is sleek and way ahead than what other DTH companies provide (doesn't feel clunky,looks well designed and feels smooth and it's even lighter with batteries inside). The EPG and other features that Airtel provides are well integrated and flow easily.

Bought it today and to my surprise the activation process which was supposed to be done tomorrow, was finished today itself in just a few hrs @dms:I'll have to disagree with you on that buddy. I have a 32" hdtv at home with 5.1 setup. The picture quality was very good compared to my old cable STB. When the engineers were setting up the dish, the final signal strength they had to settle with was 231. Maybe you can try getting your signal checked. Even in Bangalore's terrible rain, it persisted through and there was NO signal or picture disruption at all.

It rains entire year in Bangalore.. and they are terrible because it mostly rains in the evening..when its time to go home after office..
