So this has been quite a $hitty experience with Airtel. I'm emailing them this:
I have recently ported into Airtel in September and have faced several issues with the Airtel 3G network and speeds. My first complaint was registered on 5th September vide Ref.no.C3GIN30905247086 regarding the non availability of 3G network in my area. No response. A new complaint was made vide CDRGP30907184179 due to which an engineer from your side visited my location and concluded with his own expertise that the 3G Network was not present. After which my problem was resolves temporarily and I used to get a full strength 3G WCDMA Network for about a week. From 17th September onwards the 3G Network again vanished and a new complaint number was issued to me: CDRGP30918323214. This again failed to arrive to a successful conclusion and as such another complaint number was issued to me: C3GIN30921200006 on 21st September. As a result of my numerous complaints I have been getting a stable 3G network since the 27th of September. On 1 st October another ordeal started for me ie even though I was getting a good 3G Signal(at - 85dBm 14ASU) the 3G speeds on my particular number and sim card are amazingly low. They are worse than 2G speeds. A speed test is attached here: https://www.speedtest.net/android/604338324.png After this I conducted many other speed tests and they all point to the same conclusion: https://www.speedtest.net/android/605418032.png https://www.speedtest.net/android/605429168.png A more recent Speedtest is attached here: https://www.speedtest.net/android/606471817.png As a result of my complaint I was again(haha) issued a complain number C3GSP31002567219, the status of this was changed to solved, but I continue to face the issue. I have tried another Airtel sim in my phone and I get full 3G speeds from that. I have also tried a Vodafone sim in my phone and I do get full 3G speeds on that. To get more proof for my research I inserted my sim into another phone and the problem remains ie even on another handset my 3G speeds are lower than 2G speeds. So this issue lies at your backend. Today I complete 1 month of porting into Airtel and I have never faced so many problems with another Service Provider, especially in the first month itself. I have been complaining till my throat is sore and have been issued numerous complain numbers and the problems have never been sorted out fully. It has been my experience over this past month that Airtel is unable to solve any issues its customers face and all they do is close the complaints raised. A long term solution is apparently a joke on Airtel's network. This is my last attempt to trust Airtel to come to a successful conclusion. I hope that all these issues of mine are resolved ASAP. kkapoorr
I'm sending it to my area's nodal officer ie [email protected] Are there any other emails I can spam with this? And can I cc to Pgportal? Will send it in a while, any help is appreciated :D

Might want to blank out your name and number. Also, do not cc pgportal. Rather, cc appellate. Wait for their response (max 7 days). Then complain on pgportal. If still nothing happens, you know what to do.

I tried another sim in my phone, it works fine. Getting over 3mbps on speed tests. But trying my sim in another phone gives the same 9kBps.

It would yeah, but going by my whole experience as a package, I wanted to complain to them first and see what they say.
