Got a call from Tata retention as to why i want to port out. I told them i receive loads of spam sms. They said sir please give us time and we will get it sorted out. I said have complained 100s of times for spam yet i receive a lot so no more time and that you will learn a lesson when you will start loosing high value customer. To which she said company ko koi farak ni pardta agar koi number port karwa le toh. I said so why are you trying to retain me :PI have made a payment of Rs 1600 which is well above my monthly bill which is fixed at about 1450. My billing date is 15th of every month. So they should not play dirty games.

This company will die under its own debt. Ettelecom.com quoted saying tata has lined up funds for docomo exit and are not able to find third partner.
Who will buy such deals when return on investment is not certain and assets value is much lesser than debts.

Nope GSM is very bad. And they cant wind up in next 2yrs. They are giving away phone on 2 yrs contract. I have bought moto G
question is not of winding up the op. you need reliable and better coverage and network. hence Rcom is poor in this respect. Severe congestion is back in their CDMA network. Cities are better but rural and towns are degrading. More importantly they are not in a mood to invest further in their CDMA network(not even GSM) until the company becomes profitable.
You have made a bad move by buying CDMA handset at this time point. Ecosystem has fairly faded on this network mode

There were some hiccups at start from the reliance side when they had to transfer money for MNP. But now Tata has accepted my request and porting will be completed tonight.
