usually 2 full working days
porting completed got home delivery of sim KYC done by delivery agent everything went smoothly vi service is very good and you can talk to a real human being in customer care in VI not a bot. Signal and 4g speeds are good. enough for normal daily use. ordered sim online from vi app all good, site is also working fine

thats nice ,i plan to get Vi sim next month via port in ,lets see how that goes
One thing i noticed is VI has excellent calling voice clarity i don't know how they do it but the sound quality of speech on the call is superb
VI 4g provides better speeds than jio at my home like it'll be around 70-80mbps download and 10mbps upload, but in my college or around mumbai in general jio5g speeds are great,

Infact i've recharged this old sim just to check voice call quality because this friend of mine uses vi and god the call quality is like better than whatsapp call quality. The background noise, the noise, the latency whatever parameter you want to talk about it either matches or even surpasses. The only thing i can ever recall with such great voice call quality was skype on pc.

for mobile data i feel 20 Mbps is enough for whats app, you tube, calls and streaming IMHO. what matters is stability of the connection.

i actually get poor 240p voice quality from Vi ,but then i easily hit 125mbps on 4G every morning

No way Vi has good call quality, kind of unbelievable. My dad has a corporate Vi Sim and call quality is horrible, even when he travels to delhi or bangalore. They don't support VoLTE calling properly even in 2025. Even connection quality is horrible. Network coverage indoors is even worse, we get full network signal with Jio and Airtel while Vi barely has 1-2 bars and calls get dropped most of the time. It's not like I live in a remote location, my house is literally in the centre of the town.
@Kyle Crane bro what is 240p call quality? Afaik, it refers to photo or video resolution and not audio quality.
