Hi, is Ubuntu CDs really delivered free of cost..???? i mean did they charge any shipping/postal charges or any taxes????

yeah its free .. previously u can order any number of CD's but i guess now they restricted the number of CD's ..

yeah one or two at one time... but if you have the requirement for a good reason, they would send you more copies. you just have to make a justified requirement.

This reminds me that I ordered the 8.04 CD 2 times, at a gap of about 2 months, way back in April then in June, but have not yet received either of them. The ShipIt page shows that both of them have been shipped long ago, but somehow they disappear before reaching my mailbox. I have never had a problem in receiving these CDs before. Somehow I have now stopped receiving outstation mail altogether.
