A valid point. Use IDM and report. Also, please give info requested. Still to update the status on Bridge mode.

if the firmware upgrade has risk then i'll not do it,now 59.95.131.228 i have disabled my firewall@meetdilip i have switched to Bridge mode but still the problem persists

1. At what percent does the download stops ?

2. Try using IDM and check. May be some corrupted file in downloader. In IDM you will get a description of error if the same happens. Post it here.

3. If nothing works, complain here and wait for response

download stops at any percent but for a particular file it will be fixed. Like file A.exe stops at 45%, file B.pdf stops at 79%, file C.txt stops at 20%, all files will always stop at their respective percentage no matter from which server i download them.What is IDM?

Internet Download Manager. In my opinion, it is the best download manager available. It helps you overcome many errors / interruptions that comes during downloading. It is not free though. But Windows is not free either

I tried downloading with IDM, and it was also not able to download the file. It got stuck at the same place where the normal download stops.

I have a download manager addon "downthemall" in firefox it also does the same thing which IDM does.

1. It got stuck at 98 % ? From the screen shot I see it is already 98% completed and still downloading. What error did it give ? 2. How did you download IDM ?3. Download Knoppix Live CD, boot from CD and try to download anything from browser and check.4. Which mode are you in now ? PPPoE or Bridge ?5. Also post the forum code (img code). You can embed images that way. Otherwise I need to copy paste the link in browser every time

as you can see there is small white portion left to download in that blue bar... I think there are some data packets which my connection is not able to download.. they data packets can be anywhere in the file... but where ever they are my download get stuck at that portion....

IDM downloaded everything that file consists but was unable to download that file part
