problem in wifi

i am unable to connect two laptopsat the same time in wifi modem using my utstarcom type 4 modem supplied by BSNL . OS i am using is vistaask me more details is required...thank you

You are able to connect one laptop, what kind of error you get while connecting the second laptop..?

Check Wireless -- MAC Filter in your router or set it as given in the ref link.

i followed the steps but could able to connect only one laptop at a time
the prob is that one laptop is working fine but when i connect another laptop none is working. Again if i disconnect the wireless from one than the aother is again working fine.
Is there any problem with vista OS. i am not using any securities and not any mac filters...

Do not use "Dialer Mode "
Enable DHCP and allot 192.168.1.3 to say 192.168.1.10
In both laptops
Start /network/ show all connection
Wireless lan
properties
New Wireless network settings
select TCP/IP
properties
select Obtain Ip address automatically.
Apply Save.

Check if both laptops have the same SSID
If you are using DHCP check option 'Maximum Number of DHCP Users' allowed, this might have been set to 1 my your ISP (If such an option exists in your router) eg In my Linksys WRT54G its been set to 5 by me.
