With the payment rising daily of Tata Sky I have switch on to my local cable who provide me 90 odd channel for Rs 250 only, Wherein I used to pay more than Rs. 400 for Tata Sky. I have not made by payment for last one month for Tata sky but still able to view Tata sky. There is a small trick how to watch your Tata sky without making payment but I am not sure how many day it would work. When you don’t pay your Tata sky they send a signal to deactivate your set top box. If you are in last day of your due date kindly remove your set top box wire connection and keep it off for few day maybe a week or so. After that you can view Tata sky for free but ensure that you don’t use the active service and don’t watch it for too much. I watch it daily for a half hour or so. Guys kindly try this out as I am still able to view my Tata sky and my payment was due more than a month back.

Perfect..It some times works with My Airtel Prepaid..It should probably work.. Everything has a timeout.. Only if we could know what time it might take.. Hey guys, One more thing.. Make sure u don't make these things public.. There are a lot of TS Customer Care guys here.. So they may read it and 'Fix' the problem.. Just mail them or leave a private message!

@ Pradeep , u have made a correct decision ..
I would say certainly he has made a mistake to buy TS..........his need for purely for to view sun channels for that i think he could susbcribed Sun Direct or even Dish TV as they have good offer and better offers than TS for tamil Channels...........

Anyways glad to know that now RCV is going to provide Sun Channels and then its very to say tata to TS and also to DTH:thumbsup:......as you will save a lot with your cable.....:thumb:

Yes you are right kunal.............and glad to know that this can be done with TS.......but the sad part for me is that due date for me is on May 11, 2009 and after that still i have balance of Rs.1500:wall:
