Is anyone else in Pune facing speed issues today?

I'm around the Hadapsar, wanowrie area and yesterday there was apparently a cable cut in the sopan baug area.

My public IP is usually 103.xxx but noticed today it's 58.xxx so wondering if something going on.

Nopes, no speed issue just yet. Getting 320 up and 321 down. Ping times to google DNS is 6-7 ms. It's all good here I think your issue is localised.

What are your plan speeds? Mine's 1gbit and getting OK speeds on local speedtest servers and fast.com but very slow on international server which earlier I used to get decent downloads (min 300, max around 600 mbps)...

Currently on the 50mbps plan. Using TPF as a backup now. Airtel is my primary connection(which is unfortunately down since last 2 days)

Mine is 300, works well. Which international server are you testing with?

Mainly speedtest.net "Swish Fiber" server in London...

Also my ubuntu mirror "fr.archive.ubuntu.com" used to give me more than 500 mbps download, since yesterday it's under 100.

I wonder if it's coincidence Airtel users facing issues since past 2 days and Tata too apparently (at least for me and a few other people telling me).

Someone tells me he was informed it's a submarine cable issue (cut or whatever) - which I would have suspected too, except Chip is not facing issues with 300 mbps plan

@vishalrao i've faced a lot of connection drop/speed drop issues with TPF in the past. I don't know what the problem is, it was just a few hours of drop so i never bothered to complain. This used to happen when i was on the 200 mbps plan. Now that i am on 50 mbps, i don't see any speed drops
