ubuntu is working. one hardware component is not being detected fine. it's not like using kubuntu or linux mint would fix it considering they are based on ubuntu.
 
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Sound, Graphics... All work fine out of the box.

I uploaded some photos on Google Plus. They are not good quality though.

I do not have my regular camera with me. God damn friends... They take stuff and never return it on time. :|

usb-creator.exe from the ubuntu ISO did not work for me. it seems to be a known bug.

thankfully, an alternative is available... UNetbootin - Homepage and Downloads works fine.
 
ah well. i think they are fine. i have never really worked on a netbook before so no idea how they are compared to others. but i did not find it tough to type on it. the keys are small of course compared to a regular keyboard. the arrow keys are tiny! :D but i think i can probably type well on this netbook.
 
You can probably put a 2 rupee coin or some thing like that on one of the keys for a pic to give an idea of their size :D
