no SIM cards.
no permanent solution for brightness found.

If running linux one has to provide acpi_backlight=vendor in grub loader for brightness thingy :P

i can adjust brightness when ubuntu is loading. but not after ubuntu has loaded.

98% compatible with linux. I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 with this. Dual booting it with Windows 7 ultimate 32bit. Haven't had any problems with both. Ubuntu detected all hardware out of the box, except the hot key brightness Fn+up/down. Found a PPC fix from Samsung tools and that gives the remaining 2% for 100% linux compatibility.

Found this in Samsung Site

i tried searching for samsung tools on the ubuntu software center. was not available. i read about this tool on some forum post. i guess i would look for it again!
