that was the point. my friend also suggested a cheapo toshiba model. pentium dual core for around 19K with 15inch display... decided against it. largely because of the battery life. this one is expected to give 6-7-8 hours.

i don't get it. all product pages go to a website that seems to portray as if i am checking out Amazon.

i mean i understand amazon allows for brands to run their own store on amazon.com but this store is not running on amazon domain name!

Oh I have no clue what exactly they do, but they almost mirror the site just changing the price to INR. There must be some sort of agreement between these guys else Amazon would have sued the crap out of them long back

Flipkart tells me that the order has already been shipped their website had said that the product was available (but not in stock) but could take 5-7 days. let's see how fast it reaches me.
