MTNL Mumbai Question Regarding TP W8968 Router

I purchased this router thanks to advice of members in this group and my friends but I have a question regarding one of its settings.
When i click off gdmt and glit mode (as they are slower modes esp for video buffering and online gaming) why does the router statistic page show that its still using gdmt modulation.

As you can i havent chosen any mode apart from adsl2 or adsl2+. So where does gdmt come in the picture from?

Could be a bug. What firmware are you on? Try updating to the latest firmware.

I dont know.i bought the router today. I am on V4.

Ok. Here's the screenshot of my statistics page. Fine here. V4 is the hardware revision. I have V3.

Can you show me your adsl settings screenshot? Which modulations have you enabled?
No matter what i do it shows gdmt.bis

Surely its not a issue from mtnls side as i am getting adsl2 on their router since ages.
