RCS on iOS

Hey everyone,
I just updated to iOS 18.5 stable and noticed that RCS is now supported, under IMS status on my iPhone, I can see RCS listed, but I’m still unable to send or receive RCS messages to/from Android devices.


Has anyone else here tried this? Is RCS actually active for anyone yet, or are we still waiting for full rollout/support?

Brdr, the Android phone needs to use Google Messages with RCS enabled for exchanging RCS texts with an iPhone, I tried.

I tried send a RCS message from an android mobile device which has RCS enabled.
was able to send and receive RCS from android devices, but not from iOS device.

Jio has enabled RCS for businesses to spam their users. However, individual messaging is not enabled. You can however send a RCS message to an Android user if the Android user has Jio Messages app installed. Lol
