RCS on Reliance Jio SIM

@socrates Samsung phones support Jio's RCS. I've tried sending pictures and videos from Jio4GVoice to Samsung devices.

I had heard that samsung messages is their version of Android messages. Slightly modified.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of this. So how should one enable and use it? Does it work over the usual messaging app or is there a different app that we need to install which makes use of the RCS protocol?

From what I have heard & seen it pops up automatically when you open the messaging app. Else check if it's there in the app settings. Heard that google is switching off the cheat enabled options in non supported areas.

What is RCS? What's it used for? Something new for me.

google mesaage rcs is kinda like imessage,(you could send media, gifs) i got it working on jio and airtel sim on op6t and s10 last year, but since its still in its early stage and other people didnt have it enabled on their phone, its not useful as of now like imessage.

@varkey its of no use unless its enabled on all android phones. its not working even on android 10. So making it work even using a beta build of google message is of no use as of now. Samsung phones do have a type this feature in build on their Samsung messages.
