Any good app to block calls from various selected numbers? Only tried ones please.Also, i want an app for Free SMS without registration. tried some today, but were not satisfactory.

I could see TrueCaller supports this but I never used. But Mr.Number is working very well for me.

used callfilter... seems like its nice, will try mr.number. also, are there any apps to block ads on android? just like adblock?

BTW, is antivirus a requirement for android phones?

If your phone is a rooted then you can try adfree... it works excellently. As for as I know we do not need AV for android... but if you are planning to try any apps from internet download other than Play store then Avast is one of the best free AV for Android... Other than AV stuff, it has lots of features like firewall, data usage monitor, theft tracker etc... I personally use adfree and Avast (for firewall).

whats this rooted android? is it okay if i do that? I have already installed Avast, i think an AV will burn some power and slow down the mobile.

i tried adding some data to my android phone today, the samsung datacable seems to be too slow. i also suspect the quality of microSD card (8GB).

get a class 6 SD card , i used have phone crashes with class 4 SD card .

cant say rooting is safe but it has its merits
