my VLAN is 100, i am sure about it.
@MZRecords , Did you try doing a VLAN Scan on your G7 ? I see PPPoE available but on a totally different VLAN ID however i am quite skeptical it would ever work though.

@MZRecords keep it transparent in g7 .
I wrote earlier also will write again some members disregarded this although I accept that airtel doesn't do MAC binding but the NOC people do something like flushing the mac from the system or they say [ Samson me bridge enable karna parega READ THIS IN HINGLISH]
Without that it may work for most people but it won't for many . I also had to contact Airtel to enable bridge for one connection but for another it was as smooth as butter without any help.
What @MZRecords can do is complain to Airtel that's the best option for him.

I 100% agree to what @anmolbhard004 is saying. When I was using my last connection, the local technician enabled bridge mode on router but PPPoE didn't work so he called NOC and said "Sir ji, customer ko unka equiment use krna hai. please port4 pr bridge mode chalu kr dijiye ." [READ in Hinglish]
From my personal experience, local technicians fear NOC backend people. NOC engineers are very uncoperative with local technicians. I once asked my local technician to hand me the phone and let me talk to NOC backend. That guy was scared af and didn't let me talk to them and then he said "Sir, me baat krunga tho bhi mere pr chilayenge and agr aapse baat krvaunga tb bhi mere pr hi chila denge. aap kitne bhi complaint dal do voh NOC pr nahi jayega, hr baar service request banke hume hi milega. Yeh chuhe billi vale khel se hum bhi thak gye hai kyuki aap jitne knowledgable hum nahi hai" [READ in Hinglish].
I can raise an SR and ask them to turn on bridge mode, but what if my G7 stops working like it did before.
