Reliance Big TV DTH: Big TV Logo

Yes I have seen the Tata Sky logo and it is not so blatant. Frankly I don't think any of these providers have a damn right to show their logos on top of the channel being broadcast. The one place they could show their logos is when I am using their menus. This is my first time with any DTH provider. I have never before seen my cable provider put his logo on the channels. I would really like all the DTH providers to stop this logo nonsense.

yeah big tv logo is quite prominent compared to Tata Sky. tata sky logo is little transparent and at the bottom and hence does not create any viewing disturbances

SD is best among all DTHs as per logos. They dont have any logos on any channels, except on first channel they have a water mark "SUN DIRECT" logo, which is almost invisible :thumbsup:

I guess the BIG TV Logo is coming from the STB itself and through the operator. Because when there is an rain on my area or no signal... the BIG TV logo even comes that time.

When the signal is getting lost i am getting message "There may be a rain fall in your area or the broadcaster location.... you channels will be restored soon.. if you are seeing this message for long then call to BIG TV customer care......."

yes it comes from the STB,and they better update the software such that i dont want too see that symbol ever again

Hi Pradeep,I did not focus on BIG TV logo in CN Channel, because i needed to go some more distance to cover my complete tv screen on the cam. So as i am talking about big tv thought it does not require to cover the logo and the intention on CN channel was posted to show the clarity of the pic of BIG TV...Only the direct link which i mentioned in the post (a BIG TV logo with Blue background) is taken with the intention to show the logo.

It seems you're using a SAMSUNG LCD? If so, how is picture coming up on it? Is it stretching up than a regular CRT TV because of the 16:1 format?
