@MadAxe - Users now are saying 199 works after recharging. Wait for a couple of days, if doesn't activate then recharge for a base plan.
Whether 199 truly is stand alone we'll get to knw in time despite the fact that I was told in mail by CC it is standalone.

True. After migration got over the 199 didn't activated. Talked to cc and they said first as base plan needs to be recharged. Did the silver plan recharge but that also hasn't activated. Have tweeted to Jio cc. Let's see when it gets activated.

It has been exactly 40 hours since i recharged.

I think this is because your other plan is still active (I am assuming you are still getting 1 mbps speed). you might have used all the data but it is active still....so 199 plan will be activated when your currently active plan expires.

Its under active plans for me.

your 199 plan activated first and then you also got the migration plan for some weird reason...but akash mandwal case is different...his migration plan is active so I think 199 plan will not activate as long as an active plan is there.. thats my understanding

Don't know where that upcoming plan came from. I never recharged

i think their DataBase admins have been running scripts directly on their prod server and weird things have been happening

it's possible, but he should get an activate option button beside upcoming plans. Now that i see it why is there no activate button for any of us.

i think there is no requirement to recharge with a base plan before recharging with 199...it is just that their script that automatically activates queued plans is messed up at this moment.

exactly.. hence the migration plan was introduced.

during the preview offer we had an activate button for upcoming plans, that should be there to avoid this situation.

that would create a messy situation.. say you have a 30 days bronze plan active and you used all your data but that plan will stay active till 30 days, even though you will get only 1mbps...but if there is an "activate plan" button then you will lose days in your bronze plan if they let you activate an upcomingg plan.

@Shubham Do update when your 50 GB quota exhausts.

Data exhausted from my migration pack. Rs 199 pack is active now. Speed is as per usual. around 95 Mbps
