I think Asus is v weak on the software front. From my experience in owning a Max Pro M1. Every update of theirs is a screwup. It just depends if it affects features u use. 😠 That's why I opted for a non asus laptop when I recently had to go in for one.

@socrates I am fine with Asus routers and been using them since 7-8 years from their RT-N56U. I also used their RT-AC68U and RT-AC88U and all of them have been rock solid. Even these pair of RT-AX88Us were fine till last non-OFDMA firmware. I have reverted to a firmware which is 2 iterations back (their last non-WPA3/OFDMA firmware) and everything is rock stable again.
That’s why I gave a heads up to everyone thinking about jumping on the Wifi6 bandwagon. In short: Do it at your own risk and be a expensive beta tester.

On a side note, Can anyone recomend a good gigabit router under 5K? I am just confused seeing too many choices. I am using Archer C60 now and that router simply has an outstanding range.

I don't game and my main purpose of buying that would be to expect atleast 400mbps speeds on Wifi if i ever upgrade to a 500mbps plan.
