I did try downloading 3 files from premiumize.me once - so basically 32*3=96 connections with the server - and hit consistent 45 MBps over wifi. But with normal downloads, 35-36 MBps is the max.

@alekhkhanna did u check qos? Maybe, u have a rule which is throttling the traffic.

QoS is off. Not recommended anyway for high speed connections.

Nah. If you look at @nigr 's speeds, apart from peering with fast.com, both of us are hitting the same speeds. And it's an R7800. It's still one of the top AC routers.

90 day trial of Windows 10 Enterprise right from MS site. I just downloaded for a minute, and I hit 36-40 MBps on it. Using IDM, 32 threads.
