what would be RevA / RevB device ?

having a 2 year old reliance netconnect+ device , looking at the FUP free Unlimited plan @797

I don't think those unlimited plans can be activated on netconnect+ devices. Only the new Reliance 3 (Revision A) devices.
 
Yes. But these unlimited plans cannot be activated on devices branded as Netconnect+.. Strange are the ways of rcom.
 
actually some plan are available for NON Dongle connection.
The definition of dongle in reliance is the dongle which is non sim and activated as dongle only (this is how they detect the dongle).
you buy an unlocked data card and use Reliance UIM in that, you will be able to use the plan, in this case they wont be able to detect that u r using a data card.
 
right , so i need to buy a CDMA prepaid sim card ? i do have a unlocked CDMA modem ?

or should i try the 497 UL plan for 15 days and see whether the true unlimited works on netconnect modem ?
 

Enter your netconnect number into reliance recharge portal and see.

Unlimited for CDMA sim card based numbers (for use in unlocked dongle) is at 949.
