Reliance Wimax Broadband: reliance wimax launched in pune?

Hi,I was using Tata connection in Bavdhan for about 2 years but had to move the house. Now I am using Reliance WiMax for a month. First few days it was working well with occasional problem in getting IP. Now with the bad weather I am not getting connectivity for the last four days. I think and hope it is due to bad weather. Rahul,I am also living in Bavdhan where in my APT there is no any internet service provider and I am interested in Reliance wimax. So please tell me your opinion about reliance wimax.

Since last week my Reliance WiMax is not working so I would suggest don't go for that. As far as I know in Bavdhan you can get Tata connection. I suggest you ask the dealers instead of direct Tata customer care. The customer care also told me that they do not have availability in the main city but the dealer said it is no problem. So I am applying for Tata again.Rahul.

Thank you Rahul for your advice. About Tata indicom in Bavdhan, they provide broadband or dial up through walky??Which package is good for home use and what is the speed available?

Stay away from tata indicom. Search Google for "Tata indicom" and you will find lots of horror stories.

Tata provides broadband in Bavdhan through cable. They have good infinite usage plans. I had very good experience with them in Bavdhan. Initially the service was very bad but about a year ago their Bavdhan operations got so big that they appointed one engineer for the operations there. After that the downtime was very less and also they do not charge for the downtime if you have unlimited package. Also you do not have many choices in Bavdhan. Rahul.

Now my Reliance connection is working okay for the last 24 hours. Reliance personnel came and changed the direction of the dish to point it to the nearer tower. So I think once you have the tower near your place it will work fine even in bad weather. Rahul.

Finally I came to know that Tata indicom don't have feasibility to provide broadband at my Apt.
So finally I have to go for Reliance wimax because there is no any choice.
What speed you are getting with wimax?
I subscribed for 2 mbps @ 750 Rs.
Give me your feedback about Reliance wimax.
