Seems Jio doesn't even want to wait to gauge the interest 
. The guys were fast enough to lay the cables during the afternoon hours. I was just taken for a pleasant surprise when i came out after the evening tea. They have tied up with the Electricity dept to use their existing poles as a placeholder for the fibre and would only dig their own poles where there are no electricity poles to support it. Refer to the brackets used by them in the images below.
