Jio Gigfiber will be real test for Ambani's..... it will be not as easy as 4G Mobile network......

Now they have to do real ground level work to maintain the service. and there will be literally cut throat competition...... Cable cutting and all kinds of under arm tactics. and I have doubts Ambani's may not do that well.

Ambani succeed by their Political clout and wherever there is hardwork & little profit they chicken out i.e. Airport Express line.

Most probably they will not take LCO route and on their own, it will be very expensive to have dedicated service team for each area. And if they officially go for Triple Play..... then service and customer care overhead will be much more.....

It will be interesting to watch how things unfold. Nevertheless it will be beneficial for people whether they choose Jio or not....

Jio has a very scrict policy on cables above ground so it'll be hard for local cable mafia to cut their cables.
I'm trying to get a connection but the problem is my house owner says he can't let them dig to put their fiber termination box.
The house opposite to my house has a box but according to their code of conduct they can't cross the roads with overhead cable
So it should be safe
But ive seen few posts saying they have cables on poles at many places atleast not the case in any are I've seen there it'll be a real challenge

That's Anil Ambani, not Mukesh. Mota Bhai literally runs the country. I am certain he will fuck up any kind of mafia if he wants to.

They are not yet in my area but at my friend's place, they have overhead cables all over the colony.... like any other local player, nothing special...... I do not think they any distinct advantage..... neither price nor speed...... and if you consider Triple Play...... the Customer Care overhead will be too much....

As for Ambani's.... bhai don't get fooled by what they put up in media...... they are one...... all his stunt is to just get rid of creditors...... Ambani's will retain all the assets without the debt....

First keep ready address proof and Identity prof and card for payment (They will not accept cash).

Then call him. He will come at mutually convenient time. Give documents and payment. You will get sms and mail immediately. Then only thank him and show the door.
